Queens Modern

sstavsky has added a photo to the pool:

Queens Modern

The building seen here is the Pickman Building, located on Queens Boulevard, pretty much on the border of the Forest Hills/Kew Gardens neighborhoods in Queens, New York. The building, whose exterior is of glazed white and blue brick with aluminum trim and ribbon-style windows, was designed by Samuel S. Arlen. Built in 1963, it has that Sixties "look," which I mean in the best sense. (The Pickman organization is a developer of many commercial and residential properties, particularly in Queens.)
